We have been anxiously anticipating this wedding since we first booked this incredible couple. We met them for the first time in April of last year we instantly connected with Jessica and Frankie. Then, when we shot their engagement session in May we were blown away! It was like having a couple from Disney in front of our cameras and we were just in awe of their chemistry and the love they showed throughout the day. Fast forward to last weekend, our first wedding of our 2017 wedding season, and once again they blew us away! Not only with how unbelievable their connection is in front of the camera, but with their beautiful hearts and their demeanor the entire wedding day.
If you follow us on Instagram, you may have seen that it actually rained, the. entire. day. last Saturday. Thankfully, when it was time for portraits, it slowed down to a slight drizzle! We could not believe how calm and composed Jessica was about taking pictures outside in the rain. We brought out our clear umbrellas (which we used that day for the first time ever) and her and Frankie were on board the rest of the day! The fact that they were willing to do whatever we asked, with huge smiles on their faces, shows their heart behind it all.
Besides the rain and having to pull out our umbrellas for the first time, there was another epic first during this wedding… the Dark Side. Yep, you read it write, they had Darth Vader and Storm Troopers invade their wedding reception! The best part… Jessica is a HUGE Star Wars fan and she had no idea! Her reaction was absolutely priceless :) From her red-sole Louboutin’s, to their sweet portraits under the rain, to the most epic reception surprise we’ve ever witnessed, everything about this wedding was breathtaking and we couldn’t be more excited to share some of our favorites with you all today!

And the drizzle started again, but we weren’t mad, because how could we be with all this cuteness happening!
