They met on a soccer field when they were only 14 years old. They played in tournaments with their national teams, who just so happened to travel together almost every weekend. They started dating during their senior year of high school and have been together ever since! Shawna and Mike came down to Florida all the way from Canada for their engagement session with us this past weekend. We met them in Orlando on the grounds of Rollins College and as soon as we stepped on campus, we decided that we wanted to move to Orlando just to be able to shoot on campus every weekend! It was really one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever seen and this wonderful couple made it even better!

From the moment we first met them through Skype, to meeting them in person last Saturday, we knew that having Shawna and Mike in front of our cameras was going to be a real treat! We can always tell when a couple has been together for a long time. There’s something special about the way they look at each other and how they interact, and these two were no different. They met us with hugs and excitement and completely blew us away with their love and pure bliss throughout our time with them. We cannot wait for their wedding day in August and we’re excited to share some of our favorites from their engagement session!
