WOW! What an amazing way to close out our year and we couldn’t think of a better couple to celebrate alongside in our last wedding of 2017! If we could describe this past Sunday in one word it would be JOY. Pure, unreserved, and oh so tangible joy. Throughout this entire wedding day, we could not stop smiling and our beautiful bride Emily and handsome groom Michael, radiated joy like we’ve never seen. They have to be the most joyful, laid-back, and sweetest couples we’ve photographed and we had the hardest time picking only a few of our favorites (you will see why!)

We could say so much about Emily and Michael and their kind hearts and warm demeanor. Their bridal party and family members just confirmed what we already knew about this amazing couple. Throughout the night Emily’s father and sister and Michael’s best friends all spoke of their love for each other and their love for the Lord. Person after person spoke about how they’ve endured a long distance relationship, Michael going off to Ranger school, and Emily getting her masters, all while planning a wedding! Their words spoke of resilience, and unwavering love for each other, and a deep love for God and living a life that pleases Him. Our eyes were tearing up as we heard all these beautiful things about them because although we didn’t grow up with them, we knew in our hearts everything that was said was true.

It’s couples and weddings like these that reaffirm how much we love what we do and the couples we get to serve as we photograph their special day! Emily and Michael, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for allowing us to celebrate alongside you as you became husband and wife! And a huge thank you to Mayra from Exclusively Yours Weddings & Events for the meticulous planning and Grande Oaks Country Club for being an absolutely perfect backdrop for this gorgeous wedding! What invitation dreams are made of! Emily painted the card showing their favorite places and it was probably our favorite part of their invitations! I may or may not have squealed really loud when I saw this Mrs. Box! And this heirloom pin on the right was so stunning! Love this sweet moment between Emily and her momma :) And Emily wanted to involve Michael’s mom in her getting ready process too! These guys have been our favorite group of groomsmen! They sang the ABC’s and we died laughing!
First look with her dad The sweetest and most joyful first look! Goodness gracious we LOVE these two! One of our favorite pictures ever! This soft light and background are EVERYTHING! Emily you are an absolute vision! This little flower girl was the cutest LOVE the bond that Emily and her sister Ashley have We cannot stop laughing at this picture! This bridal party has definitely been one of our favorites EVER! Praying over Emily right before she walks down the aisle This backdrop is AMAZING! We loved shooting at Grande Oaks SO much! :) Can we just take a moment and talk about Ashley’s reaction to her sister’s first kiss!?And we were SO excited when we got to sneak Emily and Michael away from some more bride and groom portraits right as the sun was setting! The sky was UNREAL that evening! This picture of them was painted by Emily and this sign with a quote from my favorite Christmas movie was my favorite!  Emily incorporated a little Christmas into her decor and it turned out so elegant and classy
I’m telling you… ALL THE JOY! This party was awesome! We laughed and even danced a little bit at Emily and Michael’s request :) What an amazing way to end the night 

Emily and Michael, we cannot even put into adequate words how much we love you both and how honored we are to have been able to capture your AMAZING wedding! You two are the sweetest and you have such a special place in our hearts. Welcome to the married club :)
