They dated for the first time when she was in junior high and he was in high school for a few months. But senior year came for him and college right after so they stopped dating and went their separate ways. In 2006, they worked in the same building and saw each other in passing and reconnected through social media right after this but simply as friends. Little did they know that a few years after that, they would once again reconnect at an event where Lulu the photographer and Alex was the DJ. And 23 years after they dated as kids, their relationship came full circle and they fell in love all over again. Last year in April, he decided to pop the question at the Morokami Museum  and in exactly a month they’re becoming husband and wife!

We met Lulu and Alex via video chat a few months ago and we were so excited to finally meet them both in person this past week during their engagement session in Worth Avenue. We’ve never met a couple that are more opposite than these two yet they are so compatible and their personalities compliment one another perfectly. Lulu is bubbly, outgoing, and fun and Alex is reserved, calm, and down-to-earth and they bring the best out of one another! Lulu is also a photographer and Alex works as a DJ and we are always humbled and honored when friends who work in the industry asks us to capture their love! We had such a great time with them both during their engagement session and we cannot wait for the wedding day next month! They are SO cute together! This teal door never disappoints! So much joy throughout this session! Just look at them! And this ring! Oh goodness :) Can’t get enough of these two cuties and we’re so excited that we’re only a month away from their big day!! 

Lulu and Alex, we had the best time with you both during your session and loved getting to know you more during dinner afterwards :) You guys are absolutely amazing and we’re counting down the days until the big day in January!
