We thought that we were going to get awesome weather in February because that’s the month where Florida weather is truly amazing. Unfortunately, Florida missed the memo about winter weather and instead we were met with 80 degree heat during all of our sessions last week. But the best part of it all, not one of our couples were even phased by the heat including Beatrice and Rodrigo who blew us away during their engagement session last week! Beatrice may look a little familiar because she looks just like her sister Jackie who’s engagement session we shot late last year and who’s wedding we’re shooting in June! Jackie was actually the one who introduced us to Beatrice and Rodrigo right after she booked us to shoot her wedding and we love that we get to spend time with this amazing family twice during each of their wedding days!

Beatrice and Rodrigo were both part of a sorority and fraternity at FIU and met at an 80’s workout themed party (our kinda people!). They had the same social circle and knew each other but it was that night that Rodrigo spotted her in full 80’s attire and decided to ask her out on a date. Four years later, he decided to pop the question and ask Beatrice to marry him at 2 am in a snow-covered Wendy’s parking lot during a trip to New York. He had planned to do it the next day but the nerves were eating him up inside and he just couldn’t wait! Now they’re getting married next January and, after spending time with them during their session last week, we are even more excited to be a part of their big day next year! They decided to bring their rescue pup Rosie with them to the session and you all already know know how much we love dogs and this sweet girl was no exception! Besides the cuteness overload of their fur-baby, Beatrice and Rodrigo made our jobs so easy and had us smiling and laughing the entire time we were together. We got the best light ever during their engagement session and we’re just thrilled to share some favorites from their Crandon Park engagement with you all today!

Beatrice and Rodrigo, you both are absolutely amazing and we cannot thank you enough for asking us to capture your love! We had the best time with you both and can’t wait for the big day next year!
