Happy New Year friends! It’s been a while since we blogged anything but we were busy enjoying the holidays with family and just disconnecting a bit during our favorite time of the year! Right before the holidays, though, we got a chance to get this awesome couple in front of our cameras! Sean and Samantha have known each other for over 10 years and for half that time they were just friends. They hung out with the same crowd and spent 5 years just being there for each other. Throughout those 5 years the timing just didn’t work out for them but they always had a mutual attraction. One night, she dared him to kiss her at the bar and they’ve been together ever since! Last December, he decided to pop the question at a marina right by his parents house and this October they are getting married!

These two are FUN and such a joy to be around! We laughed the entire time we were together with them (like literal tears rolling down down our faces from laughing so hard!) We met them for their engagement session at the very place he proposed to her last year! They were in town for the holidays and we were able to squeeze in time for their engagement session the Saturday before Christmas. We started at the marina where Sean proposed and walk all throughout the neighborhood where he grew up snapping photos as we went along the way. We finished their session at Sean’s parents house with their beautiful golden-doodle Stella! Samantha and Sean were so great in front of the camera and we cannot wait for their big day this fall!
