They met in New York through mutual friends and have been dating for almost 6 years. Ryan decided to pop the question on the dock right outside his parents condo. You’ll actually see the very spot he proposed towards the end of this post since we got to do part of their session on that very dock! We love when our couples pick a sentimental and important spot to have some of their engagement photos at. Needless to say, Megan said yes and now they’re planning their wedding for next October at the Pelican Club! They currently live in New Jersey and decided on a destination wedding for themselves and their guests next fall!

The weather was perfect last Wednesday when we did their session! We started at Coral Cove Park right as the fluffy purple grass was in bloom and it’s easy to say these are some of our favorite images from the session! The lighting was STUNNING and the fluffy grass just added something so beautiful to these photos. We had to pry ourselves away from this spot to be able to give them some variety (cuz we could’ve stayed there all day haha!) Ryans parents condo was right down the street from Coral Cove so as we finished the session, we headed to the very dock where he proposed and got some stunning sunset photos for them! Megan and Ryan were an absolute joy to photograph and although they told us they have never taken professional photos, they were naturals in front of the camera!
