Our last wedding of the season and we went out with a bang with Kathleen and Brad’s big day this past Friday! Amidst the downpour of rain right before and during their ceremony (which was thankfully indoors), these two made the best of it and were just so happy to be getting married! Thankfully as the afternoon went on, the rain subsided and we were able to get some portraits for them. We started the day at Lago Mar Beach Resort in Ft. Lauderdale with a beautiful, sunny day! As we got to Kat’s room, we were greeted with excitement and smiles that their big day was finally here! We grabbed Kat’s details and started making magic! Just as she got into her dress, it started pouring, but she kept a smile on the entire time and had the best demeanor about it all. After their ceremony the rain died down and we headed back to Lago Mar for portraits.

Kat and Brad had a intimate wedding party that was so supportive and fun! Both her sisters were part of her wedding party, and now that we are girl parents, we always love witnessing the bond between sisters and thinking about our girls one day. Kat’s youngest sister Brooke gave one of the funniest and heartfelt maid of honor speeches during toasts and everyone who spoke about Kat and Brad spoke of their kind and caring hearts. We can attest to the beautiful things said about these two and we are just honored that we’re the ones who got to be their wedding photographers! Lynn of I Do’s by Lynn coordinated the entire day and made sure it all went off without a hitch. Love was felt, there was lots of laughter, and the dance floor was packed, making for a pretty amazing wedding! We ended our wedding season with this sweet couple and we’re excited to share more from their Lago Mar Beach Resort wedding with you all today!
