A Romantic Wedding at The Ocean Course on Kiawah Island, South Carolina

We first met Abby and Brannon back in 2024 when we photographed their proposal in West Palm Beach. Little did we know that two years later, we’d be packing our bags and heading to Charleston to photograph their wedding day! When they reached out and asked us to be part of another huge milestone in their story, we were beyond excited. Getting to work with a couple again after their proposal is already special, but having them trust us enough to bring us along for their wedding? That’s the kind of full-circle moment we never take for granted! And Abby and Brannon certainly gave us a wedding day to remember! Think lush florals, the prettiest pink and green details, a beautiful chapel ceremony, and an outdoor tented reception at The Ocean Course on Kiawah Island. It was romantic, full of life, and one of our absolute favorite weddings to date!

Their celebration began with getting ready at the Ocean Course, a sweet first look, and portraits (while fighting 25+ MPH winds with her cathedral veil!). We then headed to the beautiful Sanctuary Chapel on Kiawah Island for ceremony. There is something so timeless and romantic about a chapel ceremony, and it was the perfect setting for these two to exchange their vows surrounded by the people they love most! After the ceremony, the celebration continued back at The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island Golf Resort. They had an amazing party and everyone was truly excited to be there to celebrate them and have a great time!

One of our favorite things about this wedding was the design. The day was filled with gorgeous florals, lush greenery, and the prettiest combination of pink and green details! Everything felt romantic, fresh, and full of life. It was the perfect complement to the natural coastal surroundings of Kiawah Island. We love when couples put so much thought into the details but still allow the day to feel like a celebration rather than a production. Every little element felt intentional, and the overall look was just so beautiful and we loved getting to work alongside Peper Events to bring everything together. From the thoughtful details to the overall flow of the day, it was such a joy to see all the pieces come together so seamlessly because of their team!

And while the beautiful setting and thoughtful details made this wedding incredible, what really made it one of our favorites was Abby and Brannon themselves! Having photographed their proposal in West Palm Beach in 2024, we already had a special connection with them. By the time their wedding day arrived, it felt like we were showing up to celebrate friends rather than simply documenting another wedding! That’s one of the things we love most about what we do. We get to meet people during some of the biggest moments of their lives, build genuine relationships, and sometimes get invited back to capture the next chapter!

Abby and Brannon, thank you for trusting us with your proposal and then bringing us along to celebrate your wedding day. We loved capturing this day for you both and are so honored we got to be a part of it! We’ll never forget this one! We wish you guys the best on this new journey as husband and wife.
