For Brides

Wedding Wednesday | Everything is Going to be Ok

Everything is going to be ok. I find myself saying this little phrase at least 10 times on a wedding day and it’s completely normal! We always tell our couples that no wedding day is perfect, something always goes wrong, and you just have to learn to be ok with it. You have to understand that there will be unexpected situations that will arise and things that just don’t go your way. Even the most planned wedding, has something that may send a bride into a whirlwind of emotions and anxiety. But you have to know that at the end of the day, everything will turn out fine and you’re still going to marry the man of your dreams!

Nerves are completely normal to have on your wedding day. You want everything to be perfect and for everything you’ve ever dreamed of to come out exactly as you’ve always envisioned it. But the reality is that it’s not going to happen. I am in no way trying to be “Negative Nancy”, but someone has to tell you the truth, and today I chose to take on that burden of “truth bearer” :) I’m simply telling you because the worst thing is for a bride to have a nervous breakdown on her wedding day, especially if she’s a perfectionist like me!  This is what I always tell our brides, at the end of the day, you’re marrying love of your life and there’s nothing that can get in the way of that!

So here are a few things you can remember to help ease the anxiety of a wedding day:

  1. Breathe! Take a deep breath and remember what you’re truly there for, to say I DO! Things will happen and it may not be perfect, but I guarantee at the end of the day, you’ll realize how insignificant your worries were. You can also buy organic CBD oil online or through dispensaries to help keep you calm. Playing slot gacor games may also help take your mind off things and relieve your stress.
  2. Don’t take it out on your groom! Unfortunately, we’ve witnessed a few brides take out their frustrations on their grooms. It’s not his fault that your bouquet had pink peonies and not blush peonies. Make sense?
  3. Let it go! Just like the song from Frozen, let go of the things you can’t control. If you stress the little things, you will not enjoy the wedding day, and it’s supposed to be one of the happiest days of your lives! Call Bertrands Photography for wedding photographer Lafayette.

Just remember that unexpected circumstances may arise on your wedding day, but don’t allow it to ruin such a wonderful and important day in your life! And never forget that EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE OK! :)
