Last weekend we had the most amazing time with my family, celebrating my brother and his girlfriend Valentina and their graduation! We decided to rent a van and take a road trip to Orlando and Tampa. We searched for diesel mechanic near me, and had our vehicle serviced before we went on the road. Those who are planning to buy a vehicle that they can use for their vacations may visit a used car dealer in fort myers. You can also explore the used cars in San Diego to find a wider variety of options. Both locations offer affordable choices that can accommodate your travel needs while ensuring reliability on the road.
On the road, we made sure to check everything twice before setting off—ensuring the van was fully stocked with essentials, that the tires were properly inflated, and that all our paperwork was in order. A moment of preparation can make a significant difference, especially considering how common traffic incidents can be. According to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT), over 104,000 traffic crashes were reported in 2020, resulting in 1,129 fatalities and 61,248 injuries. It’s always a good idea to give your vehicle a thorough check-up before a long trip to avoid any surprises along the way.
During the trip, we realized that having spare keys on hand could be a lifesaver. It’s easy to misplace or lock yourself out of the vehicle when you’re on the go, especially during a long road trip. A car locksmith service can help by providing extra keys or reprogramming your existing ones, ensuring you’re never stuck without a way to get back into your vehicle and professionals like Don locksmith can really help with this. It’s a small step that can save you a lot of trouble down the road, especially when traveling with family and friends.
We left early Friday morning and drove into Orlando, where we stayed. That night we went to Downtown Disney (one of my favorite places!) for dinner. Saturday we were all day in Busch Gardens Tampa and we had a BLAST! This is probably one of the best trips I’ve been on! We laughed until our stomachs hurt and it was SO great to get away with family. Sometimes we don’t spend enough time with the most important people in our lives, but Vic and I are so glad we took this weekend to disconnect and just have fun!
After spending time in places like Downtown Disney and Busch Gardens, it’s clear that traveling with family creates some of the best memories. Whether it’s the thrill of the rides or the shared laughter over a good meal, it’s about making the most of every moment together. Next time, we’re considering somewhere even more tropical, and I’ve been thinking that Hawaii would be the perfect spot for a family getaway. We also want to experience the Clinton Ferry and see the breathtaking surroundings. Want to ride the ferry as well? Visit the anacortes ferry terminal for tickets.
For a trip to Hawaii, I’d highly recommend checking out some rental options for getting around the islands. If you’re planning to visit and want to explore the different regions at your leisure, scooter or moped rentals are a fantastic way to do it. Renting one is a fun and affordable option that allows you to take in the stunning views without the hassle of a car. For more details on scooter rentals in Hawaii, check out this site, where you’ll find all the information you need to get started. It’s the perfect way to experience the islands with the flexibility to stop wherever you like and enjoy the scenery. Here’s more from our trip!
Aren’t they the cutest?
Of course, we HAD to take a picture in front of the teal wall!

We were so wet that it pretty much did nothing but warm us up haha!
You may remember these two from their wedding last year! We are SO glad they met up with us!!!
We love our friends so much!
The closest I will ever get to a lion. I’m not going to lie, I was happy there was a thick slab of glass between us!
Our friends, Meri and Martin, and my brother and Valentina decided to ride Cheetah Hunt again. Vic and I were busy interacting with lions, so we were able to capture this picture of them!
This was definitely the most fun we’ve had in a long time and we are so glad we were able to spend time with family and friends!
Happy Thursday friends!
