We recently wrote a post about how we started a meal plan and we are working on losing weight. I am sure we are not the only ones getting ready for summer because we have had so many people ask us what we are doing and how we are doing it! So we decided to share a little bit about our meal plan, what we are preparing and how we are making it easy to eat healthy on the go!
Having healthy snacks on hand and planning meals in advance removes the temptation to grab fast food or processed snacks. It’s not about perfection—it’s about creating a sustainable routine that allows for flexibility while still keeping you on track toward your goals. Small, consistent changes can add up to big results over time.
For those looking to take their weight loss efforts to the next level, incorporating a science-backed solution can make a significant difference. Coby Health offers an online GLP-1 weight loss medication treatment that helps regulate appetite and improve metabolic function, making it easier to manage weight even when life gets hectic. This type of targeted support can help individuals overcome plateaus and stay motivated as they work toward their fitness goals. When you have the right tools and support in place, reaching your health goals feels more achievable and less like a struggle.
Another essential component of sustainable health is the ability to respond effectively when unexpected symptoms arise or when you’re unsure about the next step in your care journey. In today’s fast-paced world, it’s not always possible to get immediate appointments or answers from traditional healthcare providers. That’s where digital tools come in—bridging the gap with quick, reliable guidance that empowers people to make confident choices about their well-being.
Whether you’re navigating a minor issue or trying to understand symptoms that seem unfamiliar, having access to real-time support can make a world of difference in staying on track with your health goals. Buoy Health is one such resource that’s changing how people approach their care. Its AI-driven platform listens to users, helps assess symptoms, and directs them to appropriate next steps, whether that’s a healthcare provider, urgent care, or self-care advice. By offering clarity and support during uncertain moments, it helps users avoid unnecessary delays or missteps that could derail their wellness routines.
For anyone balancing work, family, and personal health goals—especially in the midst of a weight loss journey or lifestyle shift—having accessible tools like this enhances your ability to stay consistent and in control, even when life throws curveballs.

First thing’s first, I want to state that we LOVE to eat and this meal plan we started is not easy! We started a 21 day meal plan that has lasted way more than 21 days. This is NOT a diet, this is a lifestyle change. We have completely changed the way we eat, how much we eat, and the quality of the food that we eat. It’s not to say that we don’t have a cheat meal every once in a while, but we don’t make a habit of it. Another thing that has helped us greatly is that we BOTH decided to change the way we eat together.
So here is what we did… We cut the carbs and sweets almost completely. Which was SO hard, but it’s been completely worth it! We are only eating brown rice, quinoa, oatmeal and sweet potato (yes that’s considered a carb!) when we do eat carbs. And we are only eating these carbs for breakfast or lunch, no carbs for dinner at all. We have also completely eliminated sugar, soda and most processed foods like chips and cookies. If we have a craving for something sweet, we either eat a fruit or sugar-free jello or popsicles. We are also drinking lots and lots of water. We eliminated juice because it has a lot of sugar and we are not even considering drinking any soda at all, even with “cheat meals” We are also sticking to poultry and fish and only eating red meat once every 2-3 weeks.
Our secret weapon to not cheating… Meal Prep! We make sure to plan out our meals and prepare them ahead of time. We prep our meals the night before for lunch the next day and we plane everything out before dinner. It’s so much easier to cook when you know exactly what you’re making ahead of time. Pinterest has been our best friend during this entire process! Another thing we did is buy most of our food, especially meats, organic. It may be more expensive but your body will thank you for it later. We watched the documentary Food, Inc. and let’s just say, I almost became a vegetarian!
When you have healthy meals ready to go, you’re far less likely to grab something processed or loaded with preservatives. Sticking to whole, organic foods makes a noticeable difference in energy levels, digestion, and even mental clarity. Plus, when you take the time to plan ahead, you can mix things up, keeping meals interesting while still fueling your body with the nutrients it needs.
One thing we’ve incorporated into our routine is nutritional cleansing to help eliminate toxins and support overall wellness. It’s not about deprivation or extreme detoxing—it’s about giving your body the tools it needs to function at its best. By combining clean eating with targeted supplements, we’ve noticed better digestion, improved metabolism, and a more balanced approach to food. If you’re curious about how it works, check out Nutritional Cleansing for easy ways to integrate it into your lifestyle!
It is sometimes hard to eat healthy, but it is SO worth it. Not only because of the weight loss, but because our bodies are thanking us and we feel so much better! Making the decision to eat healthy and exercise has been the best thing for us. If you are still struggling with the idea, go ahead and try it, and I promise you won’t regret it!
Happy Friday friends!
