It was in the way he looked at her, the way she got emotional as she walked down the aisle, the way they embraced each other. All of that and more reflected the love this sweet couple has for each other. Just like during their engagement session, they spent the entire wedding day snuggling and loving on each other from beginning to end. They chose not to have a bridal party and kept their wedding fairly intimate, with only family and close friends in attendance. In our book, that’s a great way to celebrate your love!
Last Saturday we had the privilege of photographing Mitzi and Andrew’s special day. We started the day at their home, photographing Mitzi as she got ready and dressed with her mom by her side. They had their ceremony at their local church and although they were nervous (because really, it’s absolutely normal to have those wedding day jitters) they were excited to be marrying each other after all these years! Their families were equally as excited to see them become Mr. and Mrs. Mick and we are just so glad we were there to witness it all. The reception space was absolutely stunning and they even had a mariachi band playing to celebrate Mitzi’s Mexican heritage. We loved being a part of their wedding and we’re thrilled to be able to share some of our favorites with you all today!
Loving on these spring colors! We love that Andrew didn’t go for the traditional white shirt, but jazzed it up a little with the blush! This bubble exit was awesome! Oh these two cuties! The pops of pink in this bouquet were so nice! Such a beautiful bride! This reception space was stunning! First dance as husband and wife! Not planned at all but when you get a bunch of police officers together, I guess this is what happens! Then we snuck out for some more sunset photos! This mariachi band was awesome!
Mitzi and Andrew, thank you for trusting us to capture such a special day for the both of you! We are honored to have been a part of it all and wish you nothing but the best on this new journey as husband and wife! Welcome to the married club :)
