Jessica and Derek flew all the way from Ohio to get married here in South Florida! We are so glad that before they tied the knot, we were able to squeeze in a quick engagement session the day before their wedding. They flew into Fort. Lauderdale on Thursday, we shot their engagement session on Friday afternoon (right before their welcome drinks with family), and they said their “I do’s” on Saturday! Talk about a hectic schedule, but even with all that craziness, these two were in such great spirits during our session!

Jessica was a bit nervous because, like most of our couples, they’ve never taken professional pictures before! But something we loved about these two was the way they complimented each other perfectly! Derek knew exactly what to say to calm her down and he was just so much fun to be around! He was truly enjoying himself and we were glad to see them both so happy! We loved our time with them! Here are some of our favorites from Jessica and Derek’s engagement session!
