I’ve been sitting here typing, then erasing, and then retyping because I can’t seem to find the right words to express how much we loved everything about this wedding. Besides the fact that Sisi and Raphael are one of the sweetest couples we’ve had in front of our cameras, their wedding day was just perfect. From the moment we arrived at the Old Davie School House and walked into Sisi’s bridal suite, we started to smile and didn’t stop the entire wedding day. Not only was Sisi an absolutely stunning bride, but the genuine joy that radiated from her very pores was so contagious.  She was genuinely overjoyed to be marrying Raphael and the sweet snuggles and embraces from the moment they did their first look proved it.

Sisi studied architecture and her attention to detail was completely evident throughout every aspect of the wedding. And both her and Raphael were so enthusiastic about taking pictures through the day that we were able to capture bride and groom portraits before and after the ceremony! And of course there was no objection from us :) We cannot even describe how amazing this wedding was in words, so we are just going to go ahead and show you! Here are some of our favorites from Sisi and Raphael’s Old Davie School Historical Museum wedding on Saturday.

We immediately loved Raphael’s three tone wedding band! Isn’t it amazing? And these Stuart Weitzman heels were gorgeous!  Raphael was such a handsome groom in his classic black tuxedo! Oh goodness gracious! Sisi, you are SO stunning! This porch was absolute perfection! Tell me this isn’t the sweetest first look?! And let’s just take a moment to admire this amazing bouquet by EC Floral Design and Events! So I’m going to say this a whole lot… Favorite! We love when our couples keep it simple with their bridal party. Sisi and Raphael chose just to have a best man and maid of honor for their bridal party! And this ceremony space! Oh yes!! First kiss as Mr. and Mrs. :) One of Sisi’s request for her wedding day was to have golden light portraits, and we were happy to oblige! Oh goodness! We love these two! Another favorite! LOVE the sweet connection they have!
This room was simply breathtaking! Best grand entrance ever!! First dance as husband and wife! And then they partied the night away with 80 of their closest friends and family members! 

Sisi and Raphael, we are so honored to have been your photographers for such an amazing and important day in your lives! We loved every minute of your wedding and you both have such a special place in our hearts! We wish you all the best in this new season of your lives and we love you! Welcome to the married club :)
