She moved from Los Angeles to Chattanooga,  Tennessee and never thought that was where she would meet her soulmate. They met online a week after she moved and have been inseparable ever since that day. He proposed to her during a trip to her hometown in Maine as they  a game of manhunt. He had his son hold a sign that said “Will You Marry My Daddy and Me?” and the rest is history! Last Sunday Kaylan and Justin tied the knot in an intimate wedding at her parents vacation home in Punta Gorda, Florida. We joined 18 of their closest family and friends to celebrate their love and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day to end our 2018 wedding season! Not only are Kaylan and Justin so full of joy, they are such a sweet couple and the chemistry they have together is undeniable.

We started the day at Kalyan’s parents house where she was getting ready. We walked in and were immediately greeted with hugs and excitement and we knew we were in for an amazing day! Kaylan didn’t officially have a bridal party but had 3 of her closest friends and her mom help her get into her dress and get ready for the big day. Justin only had a best man… his son Owen, who helped him get ready to see his bride for the first time. There was so much emotion during their ceremony and Justin’s reaction to seeing Kaylan walk down the aisle had us holding back tears of our own. We then choked back tears again as Justin and Owen had the sweetest moment right after the ceremony. They held a small reception at a nearby restaurant once the ceremony was over but, before that, we got Kaylan and Justin all to ourselves for their bride and groom portraits.

From the moment we began, these two were absolute naturals in front of the camera and the love and joy in these images are tangible! We drove around Burnt Stone Marina and found so many spots that were a dream to photograph including a set of 3 Banyan trees where the light peeked through those trees just perfectly! We’re honored to have captured the love between these two and hope you can get to know Kaylan and Justin a little better through these photos.
