Are you all ready to have your cheeks hurt from smiling so much?! Because that’s exactly what’s going to happen if you continue to scroll down through these images of this proposal! We’ve never seen a more joyful and excited bride-to-be than Eda who was literally jumping up and down and screaming YES when Jonathan popped the question last Friday. And as we took some photos of them together right after, there was nothing that could wipe that huge smile off her face! She just kept repeating over and over “I get to be your wife” and “I’m going to marry my best friend” and we’re just so glad we got to capture this special moment for this sweet couple!

We’ve known Eda and Jonathan for a few months now through the young adults group at our church. They are two of the sweetest people we know and when they started dating, we were overjoyed that God brought them together. Jonathan reached out to us last month and told us he was ready to ask Eda to marry him and if we could capture the proposal. We, of course, said yes! The tricky part was, because they both know us, we had to make sure that Eda wouldn’t see us as before he proposed. We pulled out our best ninja skills (although I’m not as agile and inconspicuous with this big ol’ belly I’m currently sporting haha) and hid behind columns and random strangers in the moments leading up to the actual proposal. Thankfully she didn’t see us (although there were a few scares right before he got down on one knee) and she was completely surprised! These two are absolutely perfect for each other and we’re so glad we got to capture this amazing moment for them! Here are a few of our favorites from Eda and Jonathan’s Juno beach proposal!

Eda and Jonathan, you two are so special and we’re just so excited for this new season you both are entering! Wedding planning is so much fun and being married is even better! We love you guys and can’t wait to see all the amazing things God has in store for you both!
