We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect wedding day for this couple that we love so much! This was our last wedding shooting together before our little lady arrives next month and, at 36 weeks pregnant, I’m just grateful that I still felt well enough to shoot Shelby and Nate’s awesome day! Around this time last year, we shot their engagement session and really got to know these two and see the love they have for each other. And can you believe that during their engagement session was the last time they’d be together in person until their wedding day?! With Nate living in Colorado and Shelby finishing her masters in Alabama, they have spent the past year apart, so you can imagine how excited they were to be getting married and finally starting their life together!

Shelby and Nate are high school sweethearts and have kept their relationship strong throughout all the years of college and being in a long distance relationship. Speech after speech during their reception, there was one clear statement that everyone kept saying about this couple, they are better people because they are together. And in the time we spent with them during their session and wedding day, we couldn’t agree more! The way they light up around each other just made our hearts happy and we’re so grateful to be the ones chosen to capture their love this past Saturday as they tied the knot! Shelby had the sweetest first look with her dad and they brought me to tears later on in the day as they danced to the same song I did with my dad during their father/daughter dance.

During every part of this wedding day there was an overabundance of love and joy as everyone was just so excited for Shelby and Nate to get married! It was our first time shooting a wedding at The Addison and we LOVED working with the staff there and shooting at this gorgeous venue. We cannot say enough good things about this wonderful couple and we’re just thrilled to be able to share some of our favorites from their wedding with you all today!
