Sonesta Ft. Lauderdale Wedding | Marietta + Brandon

sonesta fort lauderdale wedding photos

These two humans are special. We photograph love all the time, but the love they share is just something truly remarkable. Brandon adores his beautiful bride and Marietta feels the same about him. They have a sweet connection and we’re just so glad we got to witness it this past weekend when they officially became husband and wife! There were so many beautiful emotions throughout the day and we truly loved spending the day with them and their families! They had about 80 of their friends and family fly from places like Chicago and Iowa to escape the cold and join them in Florida for their big day! Marietta and Brandon also opted to just have their sisters be maid of honor and best woman, instead of a large bridal party. They kept it simple and beautiful and it really was such a wonderful day!

Much like our own wedding day, it started raining while Marietta was finishing her hair and makeup! If you’re looking for a great spot to get your hair done, you can visit Spoke & Weal in Flatiron. Thankfully before we headed to a nearby park for their first look, it completely stopped and the sun came out! We love that they trusted us enough and still went along with the original plan! We did their first look under a Banyan tree in a nearly park without knowing that they actually got engaged under a Banyan tree just like the one in these photos! They had the sweetest first look and they both got emotional seeing each other for the first time. There was a heartfelt ceremony in a beautiful room overlooking the ocean. Marietta and Brandon even choreographed their first dance complete with turns, spins, and lots of kisses! Their reception was non-stop FUN and their friends and family really know how to party! All in all, this wedding day was absolutely wonderful and we’re excited to be sharing more with you all in this post!
