South Florida Backyard Wedding | Bria + Christian

treasure coast wedding photographer

What a whirlwind this couple has gone through to get to their wedding day! Their original wedding date was March 21st and 6 days before they were supposed to get married the CDC passed the recommendations of no gatherings more than 50 due to the Coronavirus. So the Monday before they were scheduled to get married, they decided to postpone to June 6th. Their original plan was keep their venue and move the date, but as things began to shut down and family members weren’t going to be able to fly in, they decided to change their plans again and have an intimate backyard wedding with only their closest family members and us in attendance! Bria’s parents opened their home to about 20 guests and turned their backyard into a beautiful space for Bria and Christian to celebrate their love.

They had their ceremony overlooking the lake that sits on a golf course just outside her parent’s backyard. It was intimate, full of love, and absolutely beautiful! You wouldn’t even know that it wasn’t the original plan because of how perfect it all turned out. This couple and their families went through so much to get to this point and they handled everything thrown at them with such grace. Bria and Chris are the epitome of the phrase “when life hands you lemons, make lemonade” and we’re just so happy these two are finally husband and wife! Everyone treated us as if we were part of the family and made us feel so welcomed and loved. We are honored and glad we got the be the ones to celebrate with them and capture their love! Here are some of our favorites from Bria and Chris’ South Florida backyard wedding.
