Each couple’s love story is unique to them and their relationship. Laura and Drew have a beautiful story of how they met and connected amidst some trying times a little less than 5 years ago. Laura and her sister got into a terrible accident while filming in Iceland that left her sister in a wheelchair for a few months. Laura and her were living in Miami at the time but flew out to Arizona to be with her parents to make it easier for her sisters recovery. That’s when she met Drew and told us her was “a bright light in the midst of a dark time in her life”. Within a week of meeting each other, Drew became a part of their family and was even helping carry Laura’s sister around to help her get from place to place. They spent 5 months together and it was time for Laura to head back to Miami. She moved back and a month later Drew moved across the country to be with her.

For their second date, Drew and Laura took a hike up a mountain in Arizona and it turned out to be a lot more difficult than Drew remembered! Laura just about passed out but it made for a great story and every time they went back to Arizona after that day, they would hike that mountain. This past November, they went for their usual hike, except this time, Drew had a surprise for Laura at the top where he asked her to marry him! They’re getting married this December in Islamorada but before that, we loved getting to meet them last Wednesday for their engagement session! They are just so down-to-earth and laid back! Even though our session got cut short by about 20 minutes due to rain, they just went with the flow and were easy-going about the whole thing! We loved getting to know Laura and Drew and we’re stoked to be sharing some faves from their Palm Beach engagement session with you all today!
