Ashton said that the story of how they met is her favorites and once we heard it, we knew why! It was straight out of a movie and it is such a fun story! Ashton was a leasing agent at an apartment complex at UF, where they both went to college. Matt had just leased an apartment there and when she saw him, he caught her eye immediately! Ashton knew Matt was studying law so she purposefully started studying at the law library and working out at the fitness center in the law building. For about 6 months she actively pursued him and she purposefully place herself everywhere she thought he would be! One day, he approached her and told her how he kept seeing her everywhere and asked if she wanted to go on a date. From there, they started dating  and a few years later, she told Matt why he kept seeing her everywhere! We’d say her efforts definitely paid off :)

They love the mountains and go to the Blue Ridge mountains in Georgia for vacation every year. This past year on their trip there for Ashton’s birthday, Matt decided to propose and ask her to marry him! They’re getting married this December (one of our 5 December weddings!) and we got together with them this past Friday for their engagement session at Vizcaya! I shared a little bit about it on IG, but they originally had another photographer to capture their engagement session and wedding. They booked the date for Vizcaya, and then their original photographer ghosted them completely! It was a terrible situation for them, but it turned out in our favor because now we get to be the ones to capture their love! They are the sweetest souls and so easy-going and fun! We loved meeting them in person and witnessing their connection and love. They did amazing during our time together and we have so many favorites to share with you all today!
