They met in science class during their last semester of college when Josie approached Gus because he was wearing a John Mayor sweatshirt! They ended up having a mutual friend and the three of them became study buddies for this class. Josie and Gus remained friends, even after their class ended, and eventually one thing led to another and they decided to pursue a relationship together. They had an amazing connection as friends and that eventually blossomed into a deeper romantic connection. In July of last year, they decided to plan a little stay-cation in Miami Beach (because their trip to Canada got cancelled due to COVID) It was there, that Gus decided to propose to Josie after dinner one night. They took an Uber and Gus even had the driver stall and take the long way back to their hotel to make sure the room was ready with rose petals and everything! She obviously said YES and now they’re getting married next April!

These two have the best connection and are such a fun couple to be around! They brought their pup Hamilton to the session and he was the best boy during the photos! He’s a poodle mix, just like our Peanut, and we loved that they brought him for some of their engagement photos! Josie and Gus decided on the Perez Art Museum in Miami and we love how clean, natural, and crisp the entire outside area is!
