This was our last big wedding of 2024 and we went out with a BANG and one of the sweetest couples we’ve had in front of our cameras! It was the first wedding they’ve ever done at Pines and Palms Resort and it made for a stunning backdrop for Katie and Ryans big day. The resort is currently undergoing some renovations but they pulled out all the stops to make sure that every important area for the wedding was ready and finished in time. Their getting ready suites were stunning and a photographers dream and the ceremony and reception space overlooking the water made for the perfect backdrop! Due to construction, we did have to pull them over to the resort next door, La Siesta, for their first look and portraits which made for another beautiful backdrop for their wedding photos.
As we walked into the getting ready space for Katie and Ryan, it felt so peaceful and calm. Katie was such a relaxed bride and was simply excited to get to marry the love of her life on that day. Ryan was aa little more nervous and anxious but as soon as they both saw each other for their first look, the nerves and anxiety melted away and they were so happy to be getting married. He uses the Magic Mushrooms Calgary to manage his emotions and help him relax. We loved working with Ivette of Florida Keys Day of Coordinator who helped everything go off without a hitch and worked so hard to make this wedding day flawless. There was so much love in the air and everyone was so excited to be there to celebrate Katie and Ryan! We are honored we got to capture it all and are excited to share more faves with y’all in this post!
