From the sweetest couple, to the thoughtful DIY details woven throughout the day, every part of their celebration felt personal, meaningful, and full of love! Julia and Mike are high school sweethearts, which already makes their love story pretty special. There’s something so sweet about getting to witness two people who have grown up together, experienced so many seasons of life side by side, and finally get to celebrate the beginning of their next chapter as husband and wife! And if there’s one thing we’ll remember most about this day, it’s just how genuinely sweet these two are. Julia was easily one of the sweetest brides we’ve had the pleasure of photographing. Her kindness, excitement, and the way she was genuinely thrilled that we were her photographers made the entire day such a joy to be part of!

One of our favorite things about this wedding was how much of Julia and Mike’s personalities and stories were reflected throughout the day. They incorporated so many DIY wedding details, and you could tell that so much thought, time, and love went into putting everything together! There is something incredibly special about the little details that couples create themselves! From the carefully thought-out decor to the personal touches like custom trucker hats they passed out during reception, everything felt intentional without feeling overly styled or complicated. But even with all the beautiful details, what stood out most was the love surrounding them!

Julia and Mike have a story that goes back long before wedding planning, venues, dresses, and invitations ever entered the picture! They’ve shared so much life already, and getting to photograph the day they officially became husband and wife was such a privilege. You could feel how much this day meant to them. It wasn’t just about having a beautiful wedding (although they certainly had one!). It was about celebrating their relationship, their journey, and all the people who have been part of their story along the way!
