When we had our coaching session with the fabulous Katelyn James, she spoke to us about being featured and finding small blogs that would publish our work. We took her advice and signed up for Two Bright Lights, a website that allows photographers to easily submit their work to a variety of wedding blogs.  We uploaded one engagement session and two weddings and hoped for the best. In all honesty, I’m not sure if I thought anyone would look at one of our albums and actually publish it on their blog. I mean we have received compliments about our work, even from other photographers, which is so flattering but I wasn’t sure how wedding bloggers would respond to our work.

 

I was thrilled when we started receiving emails that our work had been accepted onto one blog, then another and then another! We couldn’t believe the overwhelming response we received from all these different wedding blogs. As a matter of fact, one of our weddings is being featured on Borrowed and Blue very soon!!! We are over the moon excited that they and other wedding blogs find our work beautiful enough to feature.

We are so happy with all the love we are receiving in regards to the albums we’ve submitted. We are humbled and honored that our work has caught the eye of some amazing and well known wedding blogs. They like our work enough to share it with all of their followers and readers and that really blows my mind. God has truly opened the doors and we are grateful for how He has guided us and moved in our business.
