Charlotte Engagement Photos at Freedom Park | Bailey + James

Freedom Park Engagement Photos

We recently photographed the sweetest couple during their Charlotte engagement session, and their quiet, gentle connection was absolutely beautiful to capture. Even though Bailey and James described themselves as a little shy in front of the camera, you would never know it from their photos. They eased into the session so naturally, trusted the process completely, and let their love lead the way creating some of our favorite images in these iconic Charlotte locations. If you’re dreaming of engagement photos in Charlotte, NC that feel natural, timeless, and full of emotion, Freedom Park and Marshall Park are two of the most picturesque spots in the city.

We started their session in Marshall Park, a hidden gem in Uptown Charlotte that offers an amazing vibe. Between the skyline peeking through the trees, the modern architecture, and the serene fountain area, it gave us the perfect mix of nature and city. Marshall Park has such a peaceful atmosphere, and it allowed us to slow down and capture those intimate, in-between moments that tell the real story of who Bailey and James are together. For couples wanting engagement photos in Uptown Charlotte, Marshall Park is a stunning option that’s romantic, quiet, and full of sleek city charm.

We then headed to Freedom Park, one of Charlotte’s most popular spots for engagement pictures. With wide open green spaces, tree-lined paths, and gorgeous waterfront views, it’s the perfect place for couples who want a relaxed and romantic backdrop. The soft evening light filtered through the trees as we walked around the lake, giving us a dreamy glow that highlighted their sweet chemistry. Bailey and James’ quiet giggles, gentle hand squeezes, and the way they leaned into one another made every photo feel warm and effortless. Freedom Park is always beautiful, but their connection truly brought it to life.

Charlotte offers an amazing variety of locations for engagement photos, but Freedom Park and Marshall Park are two of the best for couples who want timeless images with a mix of nature, water views, and subtle city touches. If you’re looking for a Charlotte engagement photographer, we’d love to help you create photos that feel like you. These moments are the start of your story, and it’s an honor to capture them in a way you’ll cherish forever.

Bailey and James, thank you for allowing us to capture your sweet love! You two have such a special bond and we loved every minute of our time together :)
