Club of Knights Miami Wedding | Cristy + Ibrahim

miami wedding photographer

Every once in a while we get to photograph a couple who make us feel like family. A couple, like Cristy and Ibrahim, who we feel a connection with and who feel like long lost friends. This past Saturday we had the chance to capture this amazingly sweet couple as they tied the knot in front of their closest family and friends. The fact that this wedding went exactly as planned is practically a miracle and we still can’t believe that it went off without a hitch! You see, on Saturday, there was a cold front coming, and preceding that cold front was rain, lots and lots of rain. The forecast said 100% chance of rain from the Saturday morning all the way until 4 pm, and we had their first look and portraits scheduled for 2 pm.  We had umbrellas and 2 separate back-up plans, and then the miracle happened… not one drop fell during the entire time and they were even able to keep their ceremony outside!

Despite the surprising miracle of no rain in our area, the real highlight was the sheer fun we had at this wedding! Cristy and Ibrahim, who many say resemble us (especially Ibrahim and Vic), were having the time of their lives and made sure we did too. They even pulled us onto the dance floor at the end of the night to join them and their guests in dancing—sadly, we didn’t capture this moment since our gear was already packed away! But what really made the night unforgettable was the incredible Dominican band they had. Their electrifying Spanish music had us itching to put down our cameras and join the celebration. This just goes to show why live bands are an absolute must for a wedding—they don’t just play music; they create an atmosphere that elevates the entire experience, making it impossible not to have an amazing time. And for a wedding band that knows how to entertain, look no further than The Live Ones, a Vancouver cover band with over 20 years of experience. You can also hire The South East Entertainment Company, which provides top-notch service that your guests will surely enjoy. And if you’re looking to take your music journey even further, this recording studio in Calgary allows self tracking, giving artists the flexibility to capture their sound exactly the way they envision it.

We laughed throughout this entire wedding but we also cried a little, in the best way. Cristy shared with us that when we got to her hotel room she started to cry out of sheer emotion because she felt secure and at ease when we walked in the room. As soon as she told me this, I of course began to cry. It’s words like those that make our hearts burst and know in our hearts that this is exactly what God called us to do. We cannot even begin to express how much we love this sweet couple and how thrilled we were to be a part of their special day! We have so many favorites from this wedding but we’re excited to be sharing just a few from their recent Club of Knights wedding with you all today!

Oh, these details! This is the same perfume I wore on our wedding day!

And we popped some champagne to celebrate!

Cristy, you are such a STUNNING bride! We love how Ibrahim decided not to have a traditional suit! The polka dot shirt and floral print tie were awesome! These reactions are what we live for! We just want to put them in our pockets! And this dress is just to-die for! Love these mixed and matched bridesmaids dresses! And this spot was such a gem! So much JOY! One of our favorites :)
LOVE this space at the Club of Knights! club of knights wedding picturesOur cheeks literally hurt from how much we smiled throughout this wedding!
As it sprinkled outside we had to capture one last kissing shot in front of all these strings of light! club of knights wedding photos

Cristy and Ibrahim, we cannot say enough how much we love you guys and what an amazing time we had photographing your wedding. You both have such a special place in our hearts and we wish you nothing but the absolute best on this journey as husband and wife! Welcome to the married club :)

There’s something extra special about photographing couples who’ve grown up together, especially when their story comes full circle. These two high school sweethearts chose to have their Jupiter engagement session right where it all began: the spot where Mike got down on one knee and asked Julia to marry him. It was the sweetest full-circle […]

Some wedding days are grand, and some are beautifully intimate, but Micaya and Wilson’s Palm Beach civil wedding was the perfect blend of joy, simplicity, and family! They chose to exchange vows at the iconic Palm Beach courthouse, surrounded by the people who matter most: their two children. Instead of a big crowd, they had […]

When couples dream of saying “I do” in South Florida, a West Palm Beach elopement is the perfect mix of romance, beauty, and laid-back fun. That’s exactly what made this day so special for Berenice and Wady, who celebrated their love in one of the most stunning locations on the coast. This sweet duo was […]
