Our very last wedding of 2021 and it was honestly the best way to end our year! Amidst the craziness of the year and having a newborn in the middle of our busy season, this wedding was the best way we could think of to end the year! Ashton and Matt are some of the sweetest people we have ever met and we couldn’t have asked for a more amazing wedding day! We started the day at the stunning Biltmore hotel where they were getting ready. We got to Ashton’s room and there was such a sense of peace and calm while also feeling excitement for the festivities to come that day. Ashton thought of every single detail, including buying a perfume that matched the aesthetic of her details so it could all go together in the photos. She even cut some extra florals and greenery off the back of her bouquet because she wanted to incorporate them in her detail photos! So it’s safe to say she is very detail-oriented and we were in absolutely heaven photographing it all (just wait till you see these detail shots)

Ashton and Matt had the sweetest first look that even had us teary eyed (and by “us” I mean me, Kristy) There was a lot of emotion during this wedding day and you could just feel the love between them. The best man’s speech had everyone crying as he spoke about Matt and his father, who had passed away just a few weeks before their wedding day. They honored his memory in such a beautiful way throughout their wedding day with a photo of him on a reserved seat and the band playing his favorite song for Ashton and Matt to dance to. Ashton’s grandfather married them and wrote the sweetest ceremony script for them. Everything about this wedding was just beautiful and we are so glad we were the ones who got to capture it all for this amazing couple! We loved working with Events by Nicky and her team who helped plan this day and Ever After Floral Design who put together the most stunning florals for this day! There was so much love throughout this wedding day and so many beautiful details we got to capture for this amazing couple! We’re thrilled to be sharing some of our favorites from their wedding with you all today
