Devyn and Peter are an amazing example of a sweet and kind-hearted couple! Not only with each other, but with us. They were so willing to help us with our equipment and get us water during their engagement session, we immediately noticed their heart to serve others. Devyn and Peter have been together for over 8 years, since they were both in high school! Their love for each other is evident from the way they hold each other close and the way they laugh together; it’s the sweetest thing! Peter is a fire fighter and he has such a big heart to help others, which we absolutely love! Devyn is so kind and genuine and has a wonderful personality; we love them both!

They decided on Vizcaya as the location for their engagement session. We LOVE this place! With it’s beautiful lush gardens and gorgeous antique structures, it was an absolute dream to photograph. And of course we had a gorgeous couple to work with who were such troopers with the scorching heat we encountered that day. All four of us were literally drenched in sweat, but Devyn and Peter kept an upbeat attitude the entire time! And let me tell you, when it’s over 90 degrees outside with over 90% humidity, it is SO hard to keep a smile going, but these two nailed it and we had a blast with them! We are so glad they chose us to showcase their sweet love towards each other. Here are some of our favorites.

We love the colors they wore during the session! Peter even said “Look Kristy, I’m wearing teal!” Haha!

I’m probably going to say this a few more times but this is a favorite!! Isn’t Vizcaya gorgeous? Another favorite!! They are so playful with each other and were always laughing! We LOVED it! Eeek! Love, love, love! These little moments when they smile before going in for a kiss is my favorite! One of my favorite ring shots to date! Devyn, you are absolutely stunning! Gosh, you guys are SO cute together!!! Another favorite that we were able to sneak in right before they kicked us out! Those dark spots on the back of my shirt are sweat stains! By the end of the session my entire shirt was drenched, but it was completely worth it for these two! 

Devyn and Peter, thank you for trusting us to capture this special season in your lives! We loved our time with you both and we are so excited for the wedding in January!!!
