Using our ninja skills is something we love to do, so when we were asked to capture this proposal we were totally there. And when we found out that the groom had a small flash mob planned, we knew we HAD to be the photographers! Our dear friends, Soco, from Ever After Wed, helped Sammi, the groom, plan the entire proposal, and what an amazing job she did! If you all only knew all the trouble she went through to be able to make this happen. But it was completely worth it!

These two live in Puerto Rico and came to Miami to take a week-long cruise with their family. Sammi decided to propose at the port right before they got on the ship! And he pulled out all the stops for his special lady! Raquel had no idea, even when the dancers were dancing right in front of her, she was completely clueless. It made it even more special that all of her family was right there beside her when Sammi popped the question! We were SO happy to be able to capture this amazing moment in Raquel and Sammi’s life!

The dancers did an amazing job pulling off this flash mob! Raquel was very confused about what was happening but she says that groups dancing in public places is very common in Puerto Rico, so she really thought nothing of it. Love this! #selfie
She’s still oblivious to what’s going on! That’s Sammi in the black hoodie! He did such a good job of hiding that we didn’t even know where he was until he came out to propose! Sammi asked Raquel’s mom for her had in marriage right there, such a sweet gesture!
He even had a huge poster made! Such a beautiful moment! His mom was there as well to witness her son pop the questionThese dancers did amazing! Look at that ring!
