I cannot believe that it’s been an entire year since our first Tuesdays Together meeting here in Miami. One entire year since we had only 5 people in our first official meeting. One year since we first vocalized our hopes and visions for this group and our own personal businesses. In this past year, we have built the best relationships and become wonderful friends with the members of the Tuesdays Together Miami chapter of the Rising Tide Society. I am absolutely honored to be the co-leader of this awesome group, alongside my dear friend Courtney! Some of you reading this may not know what this is all about, so before we dive into the pictures from our 1st birthday celebration last Tuesday, let me tell you a little about this amazing group!
The Rising Tide Society was founded by two small business creatives, Natalie Frank and Krista Jones, who felt that entrepreneurship was a bit lonely. They started the movement of #communityovercompetition to promote the idea that we are part of a community of creatives and not each others competition. Their goal was to build an organization that educated small business owners and brought them together to help and learn from each other, and that’s exactly what the Rising Tide Society has become. Once a month, in cities all over the United States, creative entrepreneurs meet on a Tuesday, hence the name Tuesdays Together, to discuss different topics related to building business. We love our Miami group and if you are a creative entrepreneur in Miami, we invite you to join our Facebook group and attend our next Tuesdays Together meet up in September :)
So this past Tuesday, we had some of our local Miami members over to our home for our meet up! This months was special because we were celebrating our 1st birthday as a group! Before we stuffed our faces with cake, we dove into the topic of the month: Social Media and Snapchat! We held an Instagram Styling Lab and Snapchat Social and then started our group discussion! Once we finished we sang happy birthday to ourselves (haha!) and then sang happy birthday to Courtney because it was her birthday a few days earlier! Tuesday was SO much fun and I’m so glad to call these group of people friends! Here are some pictures from our recent Tuesdays Together Miami meeting!

This is the entire group that came to celebrate our 1st birthday and I could;t be more grateful to know all these wonderful creatives! We love you guys!!!
