It’s Time to Get in Shape | Part II

Back in December we wrote a blog post about getting is shape and being skinny again. I have a confession… We didn’t keep up with it :( It’s kinda sad and a little disappointing, but what can I say we are just people who REALLY love food. I’m not sure if it’s even normal how much we love to eat! So we tried to start getting fit and eating right, but then the holidays came! And forget it! We ate like heifers and enjoyed every moment!

Of course, we sort of never got back on track from the feasts we were constantly eating in December. We are major fatties and we just kept eating like it was Christmas every day! Enter April. Nothing fits us, we have been the heaviest we have ever been in our lives, and our families are telling us that we look a little chunky! Not our finest moments, friends.  Sure I was doing Crossfit but I was eating like a 400 pound man and all the while my clothes was getting tighter and tighter. My birthday rolled around and I received some money and decided to go shopping. Well, I went up 2 SIZES!!! Two sizes?!?! I almost burst into tears in the dressing room, and that was my defining moment! Because the saying is true, abs ARE made in the kitchen, we decided to change, and I mean really change, the way we eat.

We started a meal plan last week on Monday. We cut all carbs, sweets and fatty foods. And I must say that so far, I am feeling great! After the first 3 days, I have no desire to eat any unhealthy foods and I’m actually feeling better and with more energy! We are sticking to this meal plan for 21 days but after that we aren’t stopping! We are making this a lifestyle and eating right! I mean, once in a while we will have a cheat meal but can you blame us? haha! We are expecting to be super, fabulously fit by this summer :)

    Kristy I KNOW how you guys feel, pls pls it will be awesome if you can share ur menu… before the week starts. We need help here too.

    And By the way It doesn’t look like you went up TWO sizes at all…
