This was our first of two weddings last weekend to close out the 2022 wedding season! We LOVE this amazing couple and we’re so very grateful to have gotten to be a part of their big day! We met Demi in 2018 when we shot Katherine and Matthew’s wedding at the Turnberry. She’s worked there as the catering manager and since then, she said she’s always known she wanted us to capture her wedding day! And after all these years, they finally tied the knot at the very place we met her over 4 years ago. We cannot say enough how much we loved this wedding and the joy we felt as we photographed these two on their special day!

Our cheeks were hurting at the end of the day because we laughed and smiled so much. We started with Demi in her suite and she was so calm and relaxed as she finished getting ready for her big day. Her first look with her dad had both of us with tears welling up in our eyes as they shared this sweet moment together. Her and Jose also shared a sweet first look and love and joy just radiated from them both as they saw each other for the first time. Demi and Jose decided on an unplugged ceremony and we LOVE that Demi actually stopped at the beginning of the aisle to wait for everyone to put their phones away completely before walking! After they had the sweetest ceremony, we quite literally ran off into the sunset to get some more portraits for them just as the sun was setting. Demi only had two requests throughout the day: badge photos and veil shots! She had seen countless brides take wedding photos at the bridge and said she always wanted her own “bridge photos”. So as the sun was setting we made it happen for her and also got some “swooping veil shots” for them!

Everything about this wedding day was an absolute dream and we are honored to have been a part of this couples beautiful love story! We are excited to be sharing some favorites from Demi and Jose’s JW Marriott Turnberry wedding with you all today!
