Our very last wedding of 2022 and it was spent with this sweet couple all the way from New Jersey! And although the weather did not cooperate that Sunday, these two made the best of it and the Lord allowed us two small windows of opportunity where the rain stopped and we were able to go outside for portraits! Stacey and Marc were supposed to have a beach wedding and although she was disappointed, she kept their chin up and was just so happy to finally be marrying her high school sweetheart! They met 16 years ago at the Jersey Shore when they were both in high school. They were friends first but it later blossomed into a beautiful relationship. He proposed to her last September and they started planning their destination wedding here in Florida. And while the day didn’t;t go completely as planned, they kept their love and union as the center of their special day throughout it all!
Stacey and Marc had their wedding at the beautiful Loews Miami Beach and there were tons of gorgeous spots we got to take pictures of throughout the hotel when we couldn’t get outside. Thankfully these two were troopers when we did take them outside for short increments of photos in between rain clouds. Stacey had the sweetest first look with her dad and we loved meeting both of their families and friends who were there to celebrate this special day with them. They actually had their brothers perform the marriage ceremony for them and their Ketubah signing ceremony. They had us all laughing with a little mishap that will make for a great story for their kids! Working with Jaclen of JMW Services was amazing and she was able to work magic with the last minute rain situation! We had a blast capturing Stacey and Marc’s big day and we’re excited to be sharing some faves with you all today!
