Our first wedding back from maternity leave and we couldn’t be more grateful for a sweet couple like Danielle and Peter! They traveled to Florida from Chicago with only 11 of their family members and eloped in Marco Island. This spot has a special significance to Danielle and her family as they spent many summers down in Marco Island, making it the perfect spot for her to marry the love of her life. Everything about this elopement was wonderful and we couldn’t have asked for a more laid-back and easy-going couple to have our first wedding back. We had only met these two through a video call before this day but as soon as we met them in person, we instantly clicked!

Danielle and Peter met through mutual friends during Danielle’s senior year of college. She was meeting up with them after completing her final exams and as soon as her and Pete met, they hit it off. They dated for 3 years and Peter decided to pop the question. He proposed to Danielle one night in downtown Chicago during the fireworks at Navy Pier. Fast-forward to this past Saturday as they tied the knot with just their immediate family and us there to witness it. They said their “I-Do’s” at San Marco church in Marco Island and it couldn’t have been a better day! We loved all the personal details like Danielle’s bracelet with her grandmothers handwriting and a special pin on her bouquet with a photo of her grandmother as well. And although it was HOT (because Florida in August) these two were champs about the heat and snuggled in close without a care in the world. Their love was easy to capture and their chemistry was undeniable. We cannot get over how adorable these two are together and are excited to share some favorites from Danielle and Peter’s Marco Island elopement with you all today!
