Marco Island Elopement | Emily + Samuel

marco island elopement pictures

They met right after graduating college and they were hired to work for the same company who sent them to India for 6 months of training. They were sitting in a layover in Dubai and Samuel had no idea how to work the international converter. Emily went ahead and helped him and from that moment on they were inseparable. They spent six entire months living in India and got to know each other so well throughout that time together. They traveled all over India on the weekends and got closer and closer as the time passed. Once they came back to the states, a few months later he planned an entire weekend of Emily’s favorite things to go ahead and ask her to marry him. He did all the sweetest gestures and Emily had no idea that he was going to propose. This past Friday they tied the knot with only their parents and us as witnesses and everything about the day was just so perfect!

Emily and Sam live in Arkansas but they decided on Marco Island for their elopement because Emily spent many summers there and has so many wonderful memories. As a little girl, she always dreamed of a beach wedding with a tropical bouquet and that was exactly what she got. They got ready at the Marco Island Marriott (which is one of our favorite venues in Marco) and had their ceremony on the beach outside her parent’s condo! We love that they decided to elope and that they chose us to be there and capture this intimate moment for them and their families. Everything about their day was so calm, peaceful, and Emily and Sam have the sweetest love. People like them are the reason why we love elopements so much! We’re stoked to share some of our favorites from their Marco Island elopement with you all today!

Emily is so graceful! She reminded me so much of a ballerina We loved Sam’s grey suit! So classy! Oh this sweet first look! marco island elopement picturesAll the smiley kisses! marco island elopement picturesThis bouquet was made by Emily’s stepmom and we LOVE how colorful and tropical it is! marriott marco island wedding picturesmarriott marco island wedding picturesAfter some portraits around the Marriott, we headed to Emily’s parent’s condo and took some more portraits of them in the back area with ALL the palm trees! They are just so cute together! marco island elopement photosCan’t say it enough how much we loved the sheer simplicity and elegance of this elopement! First kiss as Mr. and Mrs. Johnson! marco island elopement photosAnd then we had to do some more portraits during sunset because you just don’t go to Marco Island without taking pictures as the sun is setting! Gah! So romantic and that light!! marco island elopement photosmarco island elopement pictures

Freedom Park Engagement Photos We recently photographed the sweetest couple during their Charlotte engagement session, and their quiet, gentle connection was absolutely beautiful to capture. Even though Bailey and James described themselves as a little shy in front of the camera, you would never know it from their photos. They eased into the session so […]
