We are SO excited to FINALLY be sharing this wedding with you all today! It has been under wraps since they got married in February as we awaited their feature in Grace Ormonde Wedding Style (see the feature here!) But we can finally share these gorgeous images and super sweet couple with you all today!

Ava and James first met  in college and had a few classes together, but nothing ever went further than friendly exchanges.  But things changed when three years later on a Saturday night, they met again in downtown Chicago. That night she saw him in a different light as he pulled out all the charm, making Ava see him differently than their college days. They started dating and in February of 2020, James decided to propose on the beach in Jacksonville right after they bought their first home together. She of course said yes and then the planning began!

Although they lived in Jacksonville at the time, Ava and James decided they wanted to get married in Miami at the beautiful Miami Beach Edition hotel. They brought on Amber of Oh My Occasions to design and plan their gorgeous day and she connected us with Ava and James. Amber knew we would be a good fit, and she was SO right! We loved getting to know these two on their big day and truly seeing how sweet and kind-hearted they both are. James plays in the NFL for the Chicago Bears, so there were many football references and elements that Amber designed that truly made this day so unique! (You’ll see what we mean as you scroll through these images) Working with Amber was amazing and she truly put together a dream team of vendor friends, making this a very epic wedding day! We’re excited to be sharing some faves with you all on the blog today!
