Tears of joy streamed down his face as he saw her of the first time coming down the aisle towards him. This was the moment they had both been waiting for. A moment that she had been dreaming about since she was a little girl. A moment her and I spoke about so often, even while we were both still teenagers, and long before they had even met.  As I stood at the altar, watching Jenny come down the aisle towards Ivan, my eyes filled with tears, because my dearest friend was about to marry the man of her dreams. A wave of emotions overcame me as I thought about them becoming husband and wife and entering into the most amazing season of their lives.

Looking over these images, and even writing this post, I am emotional. Because I know how long they’ve waited for this and I know all that they’ve gone through to get to this very moment. I get emotional because I have such a deep and personal connection to this stunning bride and her handsome groom. This wedding means more to us because they are friends and because they both have such a special place in our hearts. I was honored to not only have the privilege of walking in this wedding, but to photograph parts of their special day as well. Jenny and Ivan, we love you both so much and are so excited for you as you enter this season of life. We are so excited to share these images with the world and we are so glad you asked us to be a part of your special day!

We are loving this invitation suite by Moka Design, Co. These shoes! All the heart eyes!!! Jenny, you made such a stunning bride! So. Much. Joy! My heart almost exploded seeing this picture! First kiss and husband and wife!!! We were a pretty good looking group of bridesmaids, if I do say so myself ;) LOVE how all these gold tones went together perfectly! This group was so much fun! I loved being a part of this bridal party :)Oh, be still my heart! Sweet forehead kisses get me every time! The way that they look at each other just melts my heart! Seriously? I can’t even deal with how gorgeous Jenny is! A huge shoutout to Maureen for making this wedding absolutely perfect! We have so many favorites from this first dance! Just look at how happy they are! And then the party began! This definitely was a fun bunch :)An outfit change and some sparklers made for a perfect exit! And yes, I doubled as a bridesmaid and photographer :) Thanks to Chris Sosa Photography for stepping in and helping us with this wedding!
