Here in Miami we do not have fall. This season just doesn’t exist here. It never gets cooler (I mean it’s December 2nd and we are still in the high 80’s) and the leaves stay green all year round. That’s just how it is. I had never been outside of Miami in the fall and the only leaves I ever saw changing were in pictures or movies. So you can imagine how excited I was when we were asked to take pictures in Central Park the first week of November! New York did not disappoint one bit. I was just as much in awe of the beauty of nature as I thought I would be. I know that there are some northerners out there rolling their eyes at me, but I loved everything about our trip.
While we would have loved to have taken more pictures, we spent a lot of time with family and the memories we made far outweigh any images we could have taken. We flew up to New York to take pictures of our dear friend Jackie and her family, but for now we are going to share a recap of some parts of our trip.
Central Park in the fall was a dream!! We gave our clients the camera and I think they did a pretty great job :) We even had some time to get together with Amy from Amy Anaiz Photography and do a short session of us! Why can’t we have stoops like this here? Thank you to whoever let us sit on their stoop :)
And right before we got back to the house, we took some pictures of each other just because the leaves are so cool! This picture may look random to most but Vic has tons of memories right here in this spot. He spent many summers playing in that playground behind him. And we had to get at least one shot of the hustle and bustle of the city!
Happy Thursday friends!
