Greynolds Park Engagement | Paola + Steven

Paola and Steven met for the first time when they were only teenagers. When Paola moved to Miami from Colombia a few years later, Steven definitely noticed her and from there they started dating and fell in love. They are so sweet with each other and genuinely kind and good-hearted people. We loved how they looked at each other, how they held hands, and the sweet way they spoke to each other. It was just a feel-good engagement session and we loved capturing their love.

We went to Greynolds Park in North Miami, and we immediately fell in love with this new location. They chose this park because it has special meaning to them. They have had many family get-togethers and barbecues here and it just brought good memories to mind while we were there. They braved the 90 plus degree weather and humidity and had such a great time with them. You’d never realize how shy they really are with how great they did in front of our cameras! Here are some of our favorites from their recent engagement session!

High school sweethearts turned fiancés and we got to capture the big moment 🫶🏼

These cuties had us smiling so big because their connection is so sweet! Grateful Chris asked us to be a part of such a special moment for him and Ava!

Proposals are definitely a fave around here 💍😍
If you’re looking to put a ring on it, let’s chat some practical tips ⬇️

But first, if you’re watching this and know a guy getting ready to propose, share this with him. And if you’re a girlfriend trying to throw some hints, go ahead and tag him 🤣

Being in South FL as a hot spot for destination proposals, it has us shooting a ton of them and here are some tips for the fellas…

- Make sure you make the proposal about you both and your love! Don’t try to pull out all the stops if you both are more reserved and introverted.

- If you want to truly capture the moment, hire a photographer (preferably one with experience who can help you plan it all out) ! That way you can have beautiful pictures of the big moment to treasure for years to come.

- When you’re getting down on one knee, make sure you stay down for at least 3-5 seconds so your photographer can capture that epic shot.

- Try buying a thinner ring box so you don’t have to figure out how to hide a huge bulky one. And practice opening the ring box (trust us, you don’t want to drop the ring like Vic did 😆)

Did we miss any tips?! Let us know in the comments ⬇️
