My goodness, what an emotional wedding day that had us and almost all 200+ guests all up in our feels the entire day! Maybe because this wedding was 10 years in the making for these high school sweethearts but honestly this has to be the most emotional wedding we’ve ever captured. From the first look, all the way to the speeches and when we showed them their same-day slideshow, tears flowed for both Andrea and Stephen. You’ll see it all throughout the images in this post but there was just so much joy and happiness that this day was finally here and it showed! As we drove home on Saturday night, our hearts were truly so full and we felt so much joy to have captured this day for this wonderful couple!

We spent the day at the Pelican Club (one of our favorite local venues) capturing Andrea’s details, getting ready shots for them both, and when it came time for their first look we knew it was going to be a beautiful and sweet moment. Andrea told me that just reading about the first look in our Bridal Guide had them in tears, so we knew the emotions were going to be flowing. They both lost it when they saw each other and even throughout their entire ceremony, tears continued to flow for both Andrea and Stephen. But aside from tears, there was so much laughter, joy and fun and everyone was truly so happy that the big day had finally arrived! Working with Abby of Blue Orchid Events was the icing on the cake and truly such a fun time! She executed the vision for this day perfectly and made Andrea and Stephen’s wedding dreams a reality! Andrea and Stephen, you both have the most beautiful and special bond and it was our honor and joy to capture it on your wedding day!
