We feel as though it’s been a while since we’ve posted an engagement session. It’s been EXTRA hot here in Florida these past few months and Hurricane Irma didn’t help our schedule this September. But we are so glad that we’ve now dived right back into engagement session season and kicked it off with this sweet couple. Mitzi and Andrew are both police officers and met on the job working for the Boca Police department. Andrew was working as a dispatcher at the time and Mitzi was a police officer. They met, went on their first date not too long after, and the rest is history. Andrew now works as a cop for the city of Ft. Lauderdale and used one of their dogs to propose to Mitzi this past Valentine’s Day in their home.

Fast forward to this past Wednesday, where we met with them on Worth Avenue for their engagement session.  We started their session in one of the many gorgeous nooks that make up Worth Avenue (because there are literally so many amazing spots) and ended the session on the outskirts of the Flagler Museum. It was our first time shooting at the Flagler Museum and this gorgeous museum did not disappoint! Mitzi and Andrew have an amazing connection and although they were a bit nervous at the beginning of the session, they did AMAZING and were such pros throughout our time together. Here are some of our favorites from Mitzi and Andrew’s Palm Beach engagement session!

This little nook of Worth Avenue was such a gem and when one of the first images of the session looks like this, you know you’re in for a great day! Gosh, these two are cute together! This glowy light gives us all the heart eyes! When you and your fiance are both police officers, a ring shot on handcuffs and your badge is a must :) 

Yep, we completely fell in love with the Flagler Museum! I mean, can you blame us?!
Perfect light and Beyonce hair :)  This just goes to show that the background isn’t always glamorous, but if you frame it just right, it turns into magic! 

Mitzi and Andrew, thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of this amazing season in your lives! We LOVED our time with you both and cannot wait for your wedding in April!
