We’re not quite sure how to put into words the emotions we feel as we blog this wedding. Aside from it being our last one before the arrival of our baby (which means it’s officially crunch time!), this couple just means SO MUCH to us! Jackie and Jesus were the first people we told about our pregnancy aside from our family and close friends. We were so nervous about telling them because since I, Kristy, was going to be 38 weeks pregnant, I knew I wasn’t going to be able to shoot their wedding. I literally cried before calling Jackie because I was so worried that she’d be upset or disappointed, but just the opposite happened. Jackie immediately congratulated us and was genuinely so happy to hear the news! She reassured us that she completely trusted us and knew that no matter what, we’d do a great job. I almost cried again simply because she was so sweet and understating about everything. And then, the very next day, we had our first gift for Baby E arrive at our doorstep from them both! This just shows how truly amazing this couple is and why we are SO honored to have captured their wedding!
The day started with the most beautiful bridal details, the sweetest bridesmaids and family members in the cutest robes and we immediately knew the rest of the day was going to be just as beautiful. Jackie and Jesus put so much thought into every little aspect of their wedding day! From her details to start out the day, to the live painter they had during their reception and everything in between, it was such a perfect wedding. And although it rained pretty much the entire day, there was nothing that could take the joy away from them both! We did some of their bride and groom portraits indoor, some with an umbrella, and then there was a small window of opportunity just as the sun was setting that we were able to pull them outside for bride and groom portraits. They rolled with every idea, smiled the entire time, and trusted us completely to capture their day and for that we couldn’t be more grateful!
We can’t say enough how happy we are that we got to photograph Jackie and Jesus’ wedding. Not only are they one of our favorite couples ever, but their families were just so welcoming and loving! And we get to see them all again when we photograph her sister Beatrice’s wedding in January of next year (YAY!) They have the most genuine love and we couldn’t stop smiling as we went through these images and tried to pick just some favorites to share with you all! We love these two so much and we’re sure you’re going to love them too after seeing these pictures from their amazing Pullman Miami wedding!
Jackie and Jesus, we’ve said it so many times but we truly are just humbled and honored to have been able to capture your love! Your wedding was amazing and you two are such special people! We love you guys and welcome to the married club :)
