This wedding was such a long time coming! We shot Julia and Patrick engagement session in October of 2019 and they were supposed to get married in April of 2020. But, we all know what happened right before and they had to change their date. They live in Germany but decided to get married here in Naples, FL because that’s where Julia’s parents got married and they just love the warm weather here! They tried moving their date to October 2020 but then there was a ban on European travels to the US. So alas, they had to change their date once more to April 2021 but there was still a ban on travel from European countries. They even had to change their venue because the one they originally had, stopped hosting events! Finally, after 3 date changes and a venue change, they were able to tie the knot at the Ritz Carlton Naples on April 11, 2022!

It was the most beautiful day for this super sweet couple! They had only about 35 guests from Germany and New York come down to Florida to celebrate with them. It was an intimate and beautiful day and we are honored to have been the ones to capture it for them. Every detail was meticulously planned and put together by Julia and it showed throughout every aspect of this day. We love this brides unique style and fun personality showcased in so many of her details and we LOVED that she wore a big bow instead of the traditional veil. This couple has to be one of the most thoughtful people we’ve ever worked with and on their wedding day, gave us gifts for our girls and for us! The love between Julia and Patrick can be seen and felt and it’s been one of the most magical connections we’ve ever captured! There’s so much beauty within this wedding day and we’re so excited to share some of our faves with you all today!

The thoughtfulness of Julia and Patrick didn’t stop with just the gifts for our girls and us. These small tokens not only brighten up our living space but also serve as constant reminders of the thoughtful connections we share with loved ones. It was such a beautiful and creative gift that reflected their personalities and the love they share. It was a simple reminder of how they put so much heart into everything they do, not just for each other but for those around them too.
