They met during their last semester of college through a mutual friend and shortly after he left for pilot school. They dated long distance for almost 3 years while he finished his training to become a pilot in the military. Once he finished his training, they moved to Texas and started building a life together. Because Garrett is in the military, he was deployed to Afghanistan up until the beginning of this year and thankfully made it home safe around mid-January. But before he was deployed, he decided to propose at a winery close to where they lived and asked Amanda to be his wife! Up until last weeks session, we had only met Amanda through video chat and instantly loved her sweet personality and once we met Garrett, we knew that they are so perfect for each other!

Amanda and Garrett brought their fur baby Duke to the session and we were completely smitten with this pup and his cute personality! We don’t know if you’re ready for the level of cuteness you’re about to witness with this pup and his greenery wreath! Everything about this engagement session was magical and we loved that for the first half of this session, Garrett wore his flight uniforms! The weather was so great and the light last Thursday was just ridiculously stunning! We were excited for their wedding, but after their session, the excitement went up to another level :) We had a short break between weddings and engagement sessions but we’re so glad we got back into the swing of things with this couple we love so much and their fur baby!
