Rollins College Engagement | Makenzie + Shawn

It was a perfect recipe to meet and fall in love. Their best friends were dating each other so at some point they were bound to meet. Although there was a rocky start to their introductions, everything smoothed itself out when they sat next to each other at a football game. They got to talking and realized that there was actually something there, a connection, a spark. Now a few years later and Makenzie and Shawn are completely in love and tying the knot in a few months! We couldn’t be happier for these two, and when they asked if they could bring their rescue pup Penny to their engagement session, we were thrilled. If you haven’t noticed by now, we really love dogs!

Makenzie and Shawn live in Clearwater and they drove down to Rollins College in Orlando for their session with us. We had only met them through Skype and loved getting to know them throughout our time together for their engagement session. As we walked around the campus with their fur baby Penny, we saw the love between them and quickly realized that they were not only gorgeous on the outside, but on the inside as well. They had an amazing chemistry and we couldn’t have asked for a better couple to photograph. We love these two and we’re sure you will too! This yellow tree had us swooning! Love this one!!! And then they risked their safety to stand in the middle of the street, and it was well worth it! This little trio is the cutest! Makenzie, you are stunning! Give me all the Spanish Moss!!! One of our favorites! 

Makenzie and Shawn, you two were amazing throughout your session and we loved every minute spent with you both and Penny! We are so excited for your wedding in November and we can’t wait to see you and hug you both again!
