We’ve been on a short break over the past few weekends after shooting four weddings in a row between the last weekend of February and the first three weekends March. And while we really enjoyed having some Saturday’s off to spend with family and give our little guy Peanut some extra snuggles, we were so happy to be back and serving one of our couples during their special day! Our first wedding back in action was Nicole and Brian’s big day at the South Seas Island Resort in Captiva, designed by Dawn of Epic Events by Booth and the wonderful team at Floral Artistry of Sanibel.

Since we first met Nicole and Brian via Skype last year and spent time with them in Naples for their engagement session, we knew their love for each other and attention to detail was going to make this wedding day absolutely perfect! And absolutely perfect it was! Nicole poured love and care into of every detail and every aspect of the wedding. She took all of her creativity and let it come to life in her wedding details. The blush, gray, and sage colors blended together so wonderfully and were the perfect accent to this gorgeous venue!

And aside from our couple and their beautiful details, their bridal party was amazing! Not only were they so much fun, but they genuinely were invested in this special day. They helped out with every detail, made sure the bride and groom were comfortable and happy the entire day, and we LOVED them! This is definitely a new favorite wedding for us and we are so excited to share it with you all today! Here are some of our favorite’s from Nicole and Brian’s Captiva wedding!

These custom champagne flutes for the bridesmaids were so cute! Goodness gracious, this is one gorgeous group of ladies!
Nicole, you are seriously SO stunning! Love the image on the right, Brian looks so happy! First looks never, ever get old! This bouquet was a dream!!! These ladies were SO amazing!
These guys were awesome too! This ceremony spot!!! Brian’s vows to Nicole were so sweet and got me and everyone else so emotional! And then after the ceremony, we took some more time for portraits of the newlyweds! But the best part was getting to this gorgeous beach just as the sun was setting!
Ahh! Definitely a favorite!
And another favorite! We loved the reception decor! First dance as Mr. and Mrs. Marcu! Nicole choreographed a dance with her dad and we LOVED it! 

Nicole and Brian, we are so honored to have been able to capture such an important day in your lives! You two are made for each other and we loved spending the day with you and your families!
