Both of their families have been vacationing in Florida since they were kids, so it just felt right for them to have a destination wedding in the place they spent most of their summers growing up! They met online and fell in love almost 4 years ago while both attending school in Wisconsin. Last year, while traveling to San Fransisco, Jake decided to pop the question on Bakers Beach and ask Sara to marry him!  And this past Friday, they tied the knot in Captiva, FL with all their close family and friends there to celebrate with them. We’re so honored that we got to be there to witness their union and capture it all!

Sara and Jake are the sweetest couple! They are soft-spoken, kind- hearted, and just perfect for each other! Every detail of their wedding was perfectly thought out and truly beautiful. And although it was a windy day, with threats of rain, nothing could make this wedding any less perfect than what it was! From the warm welcome and tight hugs we received when we arrived to the bridal suite and the love and care they showed us throughout the entire day, we felt like we were part of the family and that’s always so special for us! We loved working with the ladies of I Dew Events who made this day run so smoothly and Isn’t She Lovely Florals who created the most stunning arrangement for this wedding. We cannot thank Sara and Jake enough for choosing us to be a part of their big day and we’re excited to share a few favorites from their South Seas Island Resort wedding with you all today!
