Over two years ago they met on a blind date. Her friends had gone out and met Tom and his friends and thought him and Jessica would be a perfect fit. And they were absolutely right! A week after that they went out on a date and now, almost 3 years later, they tied the knot with their closest family and friends there to witness. We were all supposed to be in St. Lucia for this special day, but this virus made Jessica and Tom have to change their plans. Another beautiful couple who had to roll with the punches and made the best out of this situation we’re currently in. So instead of St. Lucia, Jessica and Tom rented out an Airbnb in Tampa and got married this past Saturday!

As we spent the day with them, we realized how much the four of us had in common. Aside from both of us having cocker-poo’s (you’ll see their fur-baby Biscuit in some photos!) Jessica is a teacher, just like I was, and Tom played baseball, just like Vic did! We weren’t able to meet them before their wedding day due to our schedules, but the instant we met in person, we just clicked! They are the sweetest couple with a beautiful love and such nice families! Their ceremony was at the Airbnb with only 10 guests and us but they decided to do a drive-by celebration at a church just down the street from the house. All their friends and extended family members showed up in the parking lot to watch them share their first dance as husband and wife, their dances with their parents, and one fun song for everyone to dance to.

Although there was threats of rain the whole afternoon, not one drop fell during the time we were outside! After the drive-by dances, we took Jessica and Tom to the bay to get some husband and wife portraits just as the sun was setting! The light was perfect and these two were pros when it came to posing! We just loved every minute spent with this couple and we’re honored they chose us to capture their special day!
